Ya, just as much humidity in WA on the outside as in - everytime I look at the outside of my house I know this to be true!

Awwwwwwwwww....Jane has always been a love, and more 'quiet' than the rest.
Actually all the pullets are more calm than the cockerals.
Birchen boy is the nosiest, always sounding a general alarm if he sees me, or anything , really, even if there is no threat, as if to cackle "There she is!"
He is a character !
Popeye was my favorite as far as cockerals.........he has always seemed to be the leader, Alpha.......

and Mr Beau Spangles went to the show & has been handled more than the rest, so he is more calm than the rest.

I order the cute little 3x4's they started offering this year. My customers LOVE them. I usually order 200 at a time. Best price for what I have to spend. They cost a little more but pass it on to the customers. They don't mind at all. Presentation is everything!

For those of you that don't know, the days to maturity are from transplants. So add 6-8 weeks when starting from seed.

OMG Someone just stole the yellow lab out of my front yard. They left the gate open and just took him. I have my other two that were out side. I would think that if it was the owners ( Ive had him since 11/14 they would have said something to me)

Ok just found the dog and the owners. I cant belive it, Ive had the two of them for a month. Oh well they are happy to home.

I live in Vancouver,WA. We are just starting the Chicken way of life and are getting are chickens in the spring. If you look on my page you can see the start of our coop and run and any ideas would be appreciated. This website and forum has been a huge help and I thank everyone here.

I thought about the 3x4s...........but they do not fit well in the refrig
the 1 doz types fit better.
Some of my customers put their eggs in the egg section of the refrig door...so these 3x4s will not go there at all.
I also thought long & hard about the 6x6 that breaks apart easily........that I may get next time as alot of elderly only want 6 eggs.
