My computer must be doing something wacky - "Pain meds" in your post shows a link on my computer.

The Dr. today said DH may have a ruptured disk. I just never know what to believe with DH as he runs to the Dr. for every ache and pain. I have no clue anymore when to take him seriously. I'm also angry with him now as he easily spends 15 hours a day on his computer, working and gaming. I'd like it if he spent an hour or two each day and more in the weekends if need be helping me around the house, or interacting with the kids in a positive manner; there is a lot that needs to be repaired inside and out, and the kids just think Dad is a grump who likes to play video-games.

This is why having my DH traveling for his job works for us. It was so much nicer to have him gone during the week, and have him happy when he came home on the weekends. Even now there are times when I am just plain ready for him to go back to work. It is less stressful for me when it's just me and the critters.

we have a challenger too, work in progress. its one of many that manage to find their way here...

What year???
I LOVE them!!!!!!
DH just sold his bright yellow fully restored Hudson..that I will never stop hearing about.
He wants a 40-50s Merc or a 30s Ford Cabriole...42 I think he wants.
In the mean time, his big interest in making a rat road, odd parts & chasis.
If you have anything that can be used for a rat rod, please let me know!

My dream vehicle is a 1928 or 1929 Model T pickup truck. I found one a few years back on craigslist, but I didn't have the cash for it then. Someday I will get one. It doesn't need to be stock, but it does need to be road worthy and able to do 70 plus. lol

Yup there...was it an Ameraucana????
Just askin'......cuz mine do that very thing...Cree lines & other lines, they are all nuts.
I have had to clip wings to prevent it, and still have had full grown hens who I have raised by hand, flip out & break their wings or necks.

Yeah, Dear Husband does not like the Ameraucana's because he is spoiled with the Fav's and LF Barnies which are rather 'sensible' as far as chickens go. And then there is the Bantam barnies and also the silkies which are just sweet and easy to live with. The sky is always falling with the Am's and it doesn't seem to be the variety -- Whites, Wheaten, black/lavs or Black/Blue/Sp -- the are all nutty; bantam Am's maybe less so. I am glad they are very pretty. =:~) Hubby likes his new pocket chicks and is holding out for really nice Orps, I think because of the general nature of the breed. I guess I am glad that he likes a least some of his chicks to be a big 'fluffier' and on the larger side =:~) -- I used to be 'pocket-sized'.......

PS you have great leg color coming on your Bantam Barnevelders. I am going to set the more elegant but pale and sallow legged young boy up with two sets of ladies and then put their get together and hope to get good color back but get some elegance from him. He is just as sweet as my own boys which is an added plus.

Oh good, they are gone. It looked like I was selling cheap airline tickets, spa packages and Dippity-Do!

That doesn't sound right. Perhaps your browser has been hijacked. It would only appear on your computer.

I just ran a system scan and it did not detect anything, but something is definately going haywire - computer is slow and there are links in a bunch of posts!

Glad it is not just me and my DH - I feel like such a cold B#$%& when I write such things, but it also really angers me when I'm working around here, he leaves his stuff lying about everywhere and plays games when he knows I can use some help.

Except if you are like me, and nothing is really wrong with my body. But I hurt anyway. I am a very healthy person, that experiences whole body pain for no apparent reason. About the time I don't think it can get any worse, it does get worse. I have found that I have a rather high tolerance to being extremely uncomfortable.

A virus scan would probably not detect a problem because it's not a virus, per se. But take a look at http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1579 for some ideas about things to check. I hope it's easy for you to get rid of.

What you're seeing is symptomatic of a browser hijack. It looks for key words coming into your browser and adds the links to places you don't want to go.

He sounds like he is dealing with depression, or just plain avoiding his life. I do know that it is a pain to have a husband that is checked out from participating in his families daily life. My DH didn't figure things out until the kids left home, and we all told him to butt out. Things are much better now between DH and the kids.

Thanks for the link. I'll need to clean my machine again.

Oh crud - I think I know how I picked it up. About a week ago I got a pop-up asking me to update internet explorer - it looked like the official MSFT one, and I clicked on it, and then immediately thought there was something strange about it as my computer is new and I thought I was already running the version of explorer that had pompted me to update. (I had a terrible hack a few years ago because I did not regularly update - that one loaded my computer with viagra ads and nasty websites) and I noticed the 2 internet explorer symbols, the real and the bogus, were not identical. I tried shutting down the computer but could not, so I ripped all the cables out of the backside. from the little bar that is displayed, the download had barely begun when I ripped the cables out. Ever since then, we have been losing our internet connection frequently.

Well I am caught up for now. So I think I am going to head to bed, and read for a bit.
The night crews supervisor has left the building.
