When we cleaned the ancestral home in Waco there were five garbage sacks of unused McDonald's napkins and almost $500 in pocket change on the floor. I keep trying to use the memory of those very bad ten days to motivate my DH to get rid of stuff but it doesn't work very consistently. All empathy for the un-hoarding process!

That's A Lot Of Napkins!!!

I think my appropriate word for the New year will be "PERSEVERE"...and I probably did not spell it right...
hmm.png

But it seems the right word to describe our coming year, where we have to get the walls up, loft floor on AND finish the gambrel roof of our barn house.
After that, we can """relax""" and take out time finsihing the enterior.

Think that is a good word for us?

YES!! I think that is an awesome word for you this year!! I know when it is all said and done, you will NEED to relax!! And it will be about time!!!

Hey when you figure out your feed formula, can you pm me with it?? I too am looking to create my own feed for my goats, I've been pouring over my dairy goat books, and reading stuff online, and would like to find an economical but, quality feed source. I've never heard of duck weed??

You might want to look into mangel beets. I heard they are considered a great animal feed. Not sure which animals they are best for though.

thank you! I will!

It shook me too. And ya know what's funny....we all KNOW that stuff! But the reminder is so helpful to gain perspective and the way it is written is really great.
Glad you enjoyed it.

That is very sad. I'm so sorry this is happening to you and your family. You have an entire 365 days to wade through this year and much to shoulder. I wish I knew how to comfort you as I really can't imagine how stressful this is. Maybe taking a break from the hard end of things you can find solace in knowing that your parents will be together again, that the home will be rejuvinated and a new family will create their precious memories in it....and that you will find the strength to cope and move forward...proving that love does conquer.

So does a person have to give the reason why they report?
Or does the person who is reported at least get the courtesy of knowing who reported them???
I don't really even know what spamming is?
What, like advertising? Promoting?
I think posting a picture of your DD in a college sweatshirt is called cheering not spamming. Unless you own a ton of stock(if that is even possible).

WE LOVE YOU T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T YOUR DARE GO AND GET SCARES ON US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No of course you don't get to face the accuser. I have looked and I have not been able to find ON BYC what thier deffinition of spamming is. I feel that it was someone who maybe really having a tough time dealing with some issues in thier life and sadly they are going to try to make others unhappy too.
