seriously, this is EXACTLY the sort of situation that chiropractors (and osteopaths) see all the time

people with chronic severe pain, that the conventional MDs have been unable to "fix", with the test results coming back as "normal"

being told that it's something you have to LIVE WITH, or that it's ALL IN YOUR HEAD

and being told not to go to chiropractors because they could mess you up worse (yes, that has happened to some) and that they "aren't really doctors"

I can so relate! having fallen off a slide as a preteen, which has caused permanent problems because it was never taken care of at the time -- no one got me to a chiropractor until I was married and with a couple of little kids (which aggravated the situation)

smart PT ! often the hands-on people can pick up the subtle indications that the doctors miss (especially those mired in a bureaucratic morass) -- perhaps she can give you some exercises to stabilize the area while your body heals (the manipulation itself, has probably caused a bit of inflammation from the ?tendon? that was likely on the wrong side of a bone ... that's usually what goes CRACK when displaced back to where it belongs ...

too bad the VA doesn't seem to have doctors trained in sports medicine ...

Too bad that DOs do not "manipulate bones" anymore like they were supposed to do...nowdays a DO just is a GP..............

Although, in Wyoming I worked for Community Health clinic of Central Wyoming, they were a teaching facility for the Uof W (the other state) !! lol! And they had a huge staff of DO's and they did manipulations all the time, and they were very good, I had it done once, it was crazy!! They do things, Chiropractors don't do. Good Drs, I had a few favorites!!

I have found a nursery that has the most awesome storage onions...several varieties but I am after Candy.
These starts coming from the Satsop Nursery have consistedly been producing single onions of up to 6# a piece !!!!!!!!
(I was getting starts from territotial rather than starting from seed)
Both I & my dad are going to Satsop for O starts this spring!
If I get any more info or links, I will forward them onto you.

They are on Facebook, but I do not see a web site...have to keep looking I guess.
maybe some of you Facebook folks can look them up & see if they have posted a link to a web site ?
It is worth the drive !!!

But the question still exists, do I push for the MRI ?? I agree somewhat with Chiropractic practice , I do however think there are some better than others, that may bring about the idea of messing things up. And yes The VA is the ultimate in bureaucracy!! So, having said that, the doc will not do anything more than he needs to ALTHOUGH I now have my own insurance, so, the VA would not have to foot the bill entirely, unless the MRI showed it was related to my back, of which I have a 10% service connected disability!! That would be the ticket, to prove once and for all that the hip issue IS connected to the back issue and then go back to the VA reps and another comp and pension exam!! I just having a feeling, that although I "fixed " it, it will no doubt happen again! But, yea I get the whole MD vs Osteopath thing!! I would much rather go to a DO given my preference!! Thanks Kaneke!!

IMO simple answer YES PUSH FOR MRI. Things shouldn't just go bump in the night without cause. You need to find out the cause and possible solution.

I started growing my own since the first and last time I bought starts they went to seed instead of bulbing. I think the place that started them must have started them way too early so they thought they had a second season or something. I usually just grow the yellow storage and red onions but am going to try a day neutral sweet white onion called Sierra Blanca this year. It's similar to the Ailsa Craig exhibition onion only a little smaller. I'm going to try Walla Walla as summer planted this summer and winter them over. Hopefully have some nice early onions for 2013.

Well, I think I'm just going to go to the Drs and try and act like I'm dying!! LOL!! That may be the only way to get the MRI!! It's too bad I have to resort to that, if not, I will save up the money, go to a civilian DR and take the records back to the VA rep!!! Might get things done faster that way any how!!

Well, you know what it's like to have a back issue!! One day you think your fine the next, your laid out!!! Or in my case gimping along!! 27 yrs of a back issue has to have some impact on the rest of you body, especially if your right sided??
