They are pocket chickens. Real tame and some times house chickens. They are just sweet and small. Adults weigh around 16 to 19 oz. Great to show and handle for a 4H kid. Millis are awesome so it all depends what you like or want. My boy wanted to do 4H so we started with a serama a few years ago. I raise BIG birds and this was a change and now im hooked! They are fun like your Milli.
Pullet

This guy is 9 mo. weighs 17 oz

Frizzled boy 7 months old weight around 13 oz.

question on Faverolles....
Were they used to create AM's? they look a lot like AM's except colors and some conformations.....
I guess its the beards that makes them look alike to me....
Nope.

The beards come from the Quecha from South America.

So both Faverolles and Ameraucana's got the beards from the Quecha?
Trying to figure out all the history is confusing since some places have different info... trying to thread to the truth

I just had a thought.... are most of those chicks the same age? like they hatched within 12 hours of each other?

I have a theory and you might be able to test it. see those chicks without the tails developed??? I bet they are roosters. theory is that males are slower to develop feathering because their energy is being spent in other areas of development. on hens they are born with their reproductive system set up.
