Yikes! If you have or can get ahold of a generator, there's a way to hook it up to the house. I've never done it but my neighbors tell me it's pretty easy.
As a last resort, maybe you could curl up with them all under a comforter. I just going to hope your electricity doesn't go out...
Well, it's not quite so simple. You need to have a converter thingy put on for the generator to plug into.

We got a generator last year due to power outages, and had to get the electrician to put the box on the side of the house. Then, depending on how big the generator is, you may need to turn some things off that draw a lot of electricity (amps, I think they are) in the house. We just keep the important things on (like the well pump, heat, water)

Hope the electricity does NOT go out for anyone - it's pretty miserable when it does, and worse when you got critters depending on you.

OK, I am trying to plan ahead. I have two incubators going with two different batches of eggs. I'm worrying we may lose power tomorrow if we get as much snow as they are saying with high winds as well. Any ideas to keep the eggs warm besides shoving them in my bra? There's way too many. 21 Serama eggs (which we totally forgot to candle on Sunday/Day 10!!! Will have to do that tonight) and at least 2 dozen BLRW & Marans eggs........Don't want to lose them!!! Our power has already been flickering on and off today.

Eww, that is scarey !!
The only thing I can think of I have used in the past, is handwarmers.
That means gathering the eggs in a few thick bath towels, make a nest & put a few handwarmers in between the layers of towel to keep warm, about all you can do.
I have let my bators just go cool, up to 3 hrs with no power & temps dropped to 75 degrees, then started up again (this about day 14) and had NO issues with the chicks at all.

No hand warmers.

Guess I could do the same thing with hot water in plastic containers or something?

I've been keeping a close eye on the weather radar, and you and I are on the "zipper" between the cold and warm fronts; I've gotten 30F and snow and 38F and rain within about five minutes. Nasty slippery hard to cope with weather. ALSO: I went to put my cooking wine back where it belonged and found that the hole had healed up, leaned over to figure out what had happened (editorial comment withheld) and hit my right eyebrown on the corner of a wall shelf.

I did not actually need a black eye today thankyouverymuch.

You truly have the worst luck - and the best way with words :)

This wasn't bad luck so much as stupidity. I don't think I can get out of remembering there's a shelf when I built the thing.

I have a generator, but going out in a wind storm like we had that one night at 2 AM winds up to 70 MPR & driven horizantal rain...was out of the question.
As soon as the bator dropped to 75, out I went into the storm & started the bator & hooked up the wires and POW, the power came back on, wouldn't ya just know it.
So shut the generator off & plugged cords back into the wall oulets...sheesh !!

Oh and P.S.
Dampened & wrung papertowel with the eggs in the nest with handwarmers to add some humidity.

I have put baby chicks in the oven before (LOL) opened the oven door (gas) and propped a small rabbit cage there, covered the outter parts with a bath towel...and put the newly hatched chicks in the cage...for 3 days until power came back on.
All went extremely well.
hard to cook dinner though.

I suspect we'd have better luck getting that one, rather than the Korean one.

yes but I do not want those, not the same.
If I went Swedish, I'd go with Flower Hens
