where is red rooster?

I'm no where near her/him but I gotta ask, does Red rooster have a woodstove? I once had a power outage while in the middle of hatching chicks and the best I could do was help the remaining ones out, then hold their cold limp bodies up to the woodstove to heat them up. After a long time of patience and hope, they made it, dried up, woke up, and once the power came back on they were put under a heatlamp with the rest.

I am beginning to pay for the efforts of saving my runs today. I am thinking by morning there may not be much movement in my shoulders for a bit. Guess I will need to go do it again to loosen em up.

No idea what Iso or lens. It is a cannon camera and lens though. My little brother took it to show off for the fact that I am in oregon enjoying NO snow at all! I am so jealous!

OHHHHH.... Its a Cannon DSLR of some sort then... no point and shoot can get that kind of quality... though point and shoot do have the widest "depth of field" but its more fun. Cannon Rebel of some sort if on my to get list.... i actually bought an incubator last spring instead of the camera... same price..... but i got tired of ordering chicks through the feed store and having them DOA... I wanted to hatch chicks of rare breeds.... without the cruelty of shipping. I know if i was shipped in a box with 2-3 days of food i still wouldn't like being forgotten about in a truck or in a hot storage room (or cold)

Hate to say it but now i am not as jealous and the hatchitis in me has diminished.... then again.... the power never goes out in Chelan County... our PUD works hard. Anyone care to move to my area for electrical consistency and/or cheap electric rates?

There are advantages to living in the city. The power rarely goes off, and never for long.

Advantages to living in the city? the only perk i know of is called Bellevue Square... otherwise keep your Snowmageddon... i will be happy with 4+ feet any day....
Overhere at WSU i can tell who is a westsider from how they drive. Portland people stick out for how they tailgate. every localization has its quirks. i am always curious what the westside thinks of east side people.
