My pair has turned into two bro's.......sigh. One blue and one black though!

I'll pm Cloverleaf shortly......

Buckeyes !
A fantastic dual purpose breed, pea combed, cold tolerant and so friendly you would not believe it !
Even juveniles are friendly & have to come see you !

Big Daddy at the Show:

Some of the Ladies foraging:

A 4 mo old cockerel:
Note the abundance of meat on this boy !

Curious and human friendly birds !

Healthy, active foragers even as babies, and extremely well mannered, no fighting, no fanny picking !
(the dark babies are not Buckeyes)

Beautiful, glossy & oh so friendly !

It's really hard to pick just one, but I think my blue laced red wyandottes are still my favorite, but the English Orps are a very close tie for second!

At quick glance, you might think all these birds were splash, but the hen to the left of Wyatt with the purple saddle is my light blue girl, and her "twin" daughter, is just to her left and behind her. Both of the Blue BLRW are a much lighter blue than most folks think of when they picture this color.

William, my roo from Cowgirlgrace who we think is a black.

Wyatt (splash roo) with Willow (light blue hen)

My blue roo Wade and his splash sister

Our matriarch, Wynona, with our light blue Willow behind her.

Recent hatch of 5 chicks from our Dark Pen with Daddy William, Momma's Willow and daughter Whiley
One blue chick on left, and 4 blacks? That's what we are hoping for anyway! Going by leg size, I'm guessing 4 roo's and 1 baby girl at this point.

Tam let me know what you need, if you cannot get ahold of Clover....I think she is at work by now.
I can try to get ahold of her in the morning...but she probably tries to get as much sleep as possible working nights !
I am gonna log off so call me on my cell if you need anything from her.

Yes.
Watching a horde of chickens play football with a snake (or a mouse ) is pretty entertaining...though not fun for the snake.  :lau
The best part is when one finally gets it to himself, whips it up in the air (like a cartoon !) and swallers in down whole like a fat piece of spaghtti.

OMG - can't WAIT to see that!!! Chicken TV is the BEST

Well I had a nice visit with my new GP doc, I really like him!He is sc
edulling me for the ever-fantasticly fun colonoscopy (again) and I had all sorts of blood tests done for white count & sedimentation rate, etc.He
said Chrones, UC & Celiac Disease are very inter related...
Well, it is after 3:30 and that is when my connectivity clamp up !
So talk to you all later !

I'm having a bad/ sleepy/ hands don't work/ blood sugar constantly dropping to stupid mistake levels day, and find myself wishing I had an on-call keeper.

I'm sorry!  :hugs
hope it gets better as the day goes on! Hang in there Stumpy!!

I'm getting stuff done, but boy, it feels as if I'm pushing through mud up to my waist, and I've just given up on not making messes everywhere.
