you are not kidding about the USPS being sloooooow
our car insurance cards were supposedly mailed FEB EIGHTH ... airmailed allegedly ... today was the FOURTEENTH and they did not arrive today
we are still stuck in the house with no personal transportation other than our two feet luckily the grocery store is only three blocks away (the EXPENSIVE one)
Costco is seven miles away (and 1500 feet below us) ... Walmart is about ten or twelve away, same altitude as Costco ... and the road from here to there is a highway, everyone drives 65 to 70 on it
DH was on phone with the company for over half an hour today, we suggested they send out a second batch of cards FedEx Overnight, but they declined ... enough to make you want to change companies except the competitors charge darned near twice as much
they just aren't set up for people with two domiciles, with cars at each .... no way could we DRIVE between the two

I sent a check to the Big Island for the place we will stay at in Volcano just a few days after the big snow in January - it still has not arrived. My mother mailed a check for my kids Education Ira's a week before Christmas and it arrived mid-January, and she's only in California! I had a book mailed to me from Florida right around Thanksgiving, and it arrived after Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a good night. Just a quick question, I am looking into getting a incubator so I can hatch my own chicks next spring. Can anyone recommend a good one? What is better still air or circulated air Nothing to big. Just want one that will do the trick. Oh and I want one that automatically turns the eggs because knowing me I will forget.

Ugh, that is so frustrating! I don't suppose they can email or fax some kind of temporary proof to use until the real thing arrives? Kind of like the paper things dealers use when they sell a new car?
If you get really desperate, I think Costco delivers, but here's hoping tomorrow's mail brings you relief.

unfortunately, the state of Hawaii won't accept faxed copies; we HAD one of those, brought it with us, and the DOT wouldn't accept it ..... grrrr

How hard is it to switch to chrome? Do I have to change a munch fo stuff and redoodoo all my favorites etc.

My favorites switched right over...are in a different place (across the top) but hover & have a drop down menu...Clover has Chrome too & said she really loves it, maybe she can walk you through the download.

I am getting PMs and replying super fast .the only odd ball & seriously frustrating issue I have,
Is, in the process of typing, I get to the end of a sentence & hit '.' then 'enter' expecting the cursor to start a new sentence on the left, below, but it does not, it goes UP and starts a new sentence (as I keep typing) right in the middle of the sentence I just wrote.


Even worse, if I misspell, and his 'backspace' the cursor will jump UP in the last sentence as well..... It seems to be backwards, entering the new sentence above the last one typed.....and goes wacko when I backspace to correct a mispelled letter....

I just did my settings last night to delete cache when I shut my browser off each day, and got TONS of cookies back from web sites that had had them all this time, unbeknownst to me....
