On another note, anyone have any leads on Golden or Silver Phoenix Gamebird newly hatched chicks?  Any names you can pass on that I can check with?  Oh, Please, pretty please!  Please PM me ANY info or leads, thanks so much Needy Broody that is sitting on some eggs that dont appear to be hatching!  UGHHHH  Thanks!

Does it have to be phoenix? there are many here with chicks.. I'm hatching right now but not many with phoenix...

Just got a message from Bothell Feed Center about new chicks too!

Just a heads up, the chick delivery that was scheduled for Wednesday March 7th arrived today. We currently have: Ameracaunas, Golden and Black Sex Links, Silver and Gold Laced Wyndottes, Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, Amber Whites, and Speckled Sussex.

I was going to go to this but from what I was told, Larry is a judge at some county fairs and has purchased a bunch of different breeds of chicks, has partly raised them and is now selling them. It is at the fairgrounds, but its all his birds. I was hoping to take a few roos there but I dont think I will go, since I don't think there is any auction other then his own, I don't need anymore birds right now. If you are in the market, I would hope that he has some healthy birds, if he truly is a judge. I hope i have the info correct and that the gal that gave me the info is correct.

Larry Urban is a judge, and a very energetic & educational person.
He is gray haired & bearded & very well liked.
he loves working with kids.

BTW: FiL still has his commercial all redwood incubators, they are (2) about 3-4 feet deep, about 5 feet high and as I recall, 6 feet wide..........do not remember the brand, but oh they work great !

Cheryl, I used to raise dogs so had to say goodby to alot of them - way too early - as always with dogs. I figured a good cry helped people so I used to sit with my gang and pet them and love up on them and then start howling. They would join in and we'd keep at it until we all got tired(and drove the neighbors to distraction). The dogs seemed at peace after that and would go back to their regular business.Maybe it will work for you too.
