Nope just be happy. See IF I were to come over I would probably not make it to Yakima before I would be in trouble for real no kidding. That is why I now make a point to avoid the area I love and where I have so much (good) family history.





Hmm sounds like a good story! You'll have to fill me in when i get to Monroe!!
I kind of prefer to try not to go there. It may not be a good sight if I start trying to tell it.

Having never been to a Poultry show, what should I expect to observe? (Monroe 3-17-2012)

Well since I an currently chasing my docked tail. I am behind and this has probably been answered. BUT just in case. If you have ever been to a fair and seen the Poultry in cages on exhibit. That is for the most part the "show" and then there will (most likely) be some people selling birds, eggs and the like. There will be the usual group of BYCers hanging out. It is a good time to get together and yak, meet new peeps and just have a good time. Of course this is all just based on my opinion which tends to be pretty twisted at times. Also some shows have vendors there selling a variety of things.
I won't be set up as vendor but will have some of my metal work with me.

and when CR comes to my party on July 1st I am going to pull that mask he wears up over his eyes and cook him a WHITE and a BROWN egg and ask him which tastes the best. he won't be able to tell the differences

he will probably pick the WHITE egg

Talk about nervous! But, I was pretty calm up until they admitted me... then I really didn't have too much time to be cause off we went!! It's all good!! The crib and car seat is the most important right!! Something to get her home in and something she can sleep in!! Although, I'm sure she will be with you most of the time the first weeks!!!!! Deep breath!!!! Practice your la maze breathing!! LOL!!!

as for planting I am going by the Farmers almanac, they say for our area, not to plant outside till after April 22. I am trying to plant by the moon and I am going to start tomatoes and peppers inside first. Today is the last day to plant by the moon until March 25.

The yellow ones are the Lemon Cuckoo Orpington and the others are the cream Legbar. The girls have the stripes on their head and the boys heads are lighter in color.

Ok, so just a testament to the wonderful disposition of Buckeyes. I was talking to my peeps and stuck my hand down and cupped it, and guess who was the first to jump up IN my hand?? A buckeye!!!

So then, when one buckeye saw it then the rest started doing it so I had buckeye chicks jumping in and out of my hand!! LOL
The RIR's started a little and guess who were the most stuck up and "chicken"???

the BLRW crosses!! LOL!!!

I have wanted Buckeyes since I first came on here and saw the CL had them!! Thank you CL!!!!

I think the B RIR's and B AMs are cute, time will tell if they have the personality! CR's B RIR seemed very calm and cute, so I hope the babies turn out too!

Although they were the first to run up at peck at me!! LOL!!!

I do have acouple B AM's that are cry babies tho???
