Ok that's it!!! I've listened to IL Volo's momma about 6 times this morning!! LOL!! I just ordered the cd from Walmart.com for 10 bucks shipped to the store!! It's the PBS from Detroit where that clip was taken!! I hate to say it but it makes me miss my son!! And I'm gonna check into Roseta stone and see how much the Italian course is!!

I have always wanted to go to Italia!! So I'm gonna start saving my pennies!!

also, NO ONE is laying. I took the heat lamp out, maybe I will put back in a llittle light to see if that will kick start them. I have 6 in the layer pen. There will be more added this summer...but the one who was laying went broody - so I put serama eggs under her.


Because He Shouldn't be laying any eggs!!!!

I am not sure why some birds lay shelless eggs. I have one that does too. My solution is to cull the bird that I know for sure that is laying like that. There maybe health issues that are not apparent at this time. It is often cheaper and faster to replace the layer.

I'am happy that you were able to find help here. It is a fast moving thread, but that just means that we will talk to anybody, even people from Montana or Michigan.

The puppies decided that thing were much to organized for their taste and I was left the aftermath of the battle. I never did get a ripe tomato last year. I came close, but zip in the end.

It will be all okay unless you go broody too. I think it would be very funny if you and Gary had a little people.

I think all of us women are already broody, that is why we are all hatching eggs.
But in our case it is called "Hactititis"

So what happened?

All my seedlings were huge some over 18 inches.... I built a PVC pipe greenhouse and moved them outside.... they were doing great.... UNTIL last night... we got 45 mph wind gust and well you can guess the rest.... Tomatoes gone, broccoli gone, peppers gone, pumpkins, squash and corn all gone....Along with all my flowers.... UGH Oh well I guess its only seeds I only lost about 15 - 20 bucks but a lot of time and effort. I was hoping to get a really early harvest of corn and a late harvest so I could can a bunch looks like that wont happen. ( I replanted tomatoes, peppers and pumpkins today... Gonna do 4 flats of corn tomorrow.... Hopefully they will do as well as the other ones. ( this is the first year I have ever started my plants from seeds) Normally I buy starts but my garden is 3 times the size and its very expensive. Oh well live and learn right

Sounds like time to get a generator. You are going to need a big one

to keep all the bators running.

Just hate to go out in the horizontal rain & 65 mile per hour winds at 2 AM to start the dang thing !!!!!!!!!!!
It is next to the incubator room, under a plywood box, with skovie ducks parked on top making poopies..............they love to sit on the box.
