So i was scooping some poop out of the brooder when i went to pick up a big one "with a spoon" when my leghorn decided i was picking up a treat flew over and snatched it off the spoon and proceded to eat it in a hurry before the other chicks noticed it had a "treat" GROSS !! :/

well i am 500+ posts behind.... not even going to try....

As long as I pass my classes that I am taking right now then May 5th When I graduate it will be with a complete transcript. Yay.

Still talk with John, and my parents have him help with the chickens still.... The other night my parents washed eggs: 21 dozen. Thats a new record.

I was asked out by Ean and said yes. Its been a few years, but I get the butterfly fuzzy warm feeling, the first stage of puppy love right?
And yeah, I just realized there is a month left until I am done.
Also finally got the hang of how to relax on weekends.... go figure I adapt to college life at the very last minute.

There is a cider/perry making workshop at Mt. Vernon that I want to take this summer at the WSU Extension center..... costs as much as a college class but sooo worth it to learn without having to be back at college to learn. The June session already filled up, so they opened a July one... Now its just a matter of getting $1100 in my checking account to cover it.

I miss my chickens.... and when eating breakfast I let my friends have my side of eggs..... I only can eat the fresh eggs now.... -sigh- spoiled. At least my friends are well fed.

She is still sitting on eight eggs. I did try and candle them once and I think one was clear. But since they are so dark I wasn't sure so I just left it there. And about 2 days ago I found an egg on the floor of the coop so I just put it back

. I throw corn out in their run at four and she gets off the nest and comes and gets the goodys while I go and get the barred rock egg. The others are laying under the broody box. She must only like the barred rock.
