only 1 egg failed to hatch, so that means this 1 hen has 11 chicks swimming through her feathers !!



The other Moms are swimming with chicks as well, and are watching the show !



I have to watch the java, if her chicks get out of that box they cannot get back in..............

Its zipping.

So despite the fact that the temps were all over the place I have one that is zipping. The other one I don't expect much out of as it didn't set until the day I set the broody eggs. so sometime in the next day or so.

Can't wait they will either be black or blue silkie.

Ok peeps!! I am having one hell of a time keeping the LG on temp!! It either fluctuates to 98 and 102!!! The room temp is about 74 degrees and I put the fan in it! It is driving me crazy!! I am so worried!! I go into lock down on Sunday!! What advice do the veteran LG peeps have on getting this thing to regulate and what tips do you have for lockdown?? I just do not want to lose these eggs!!

As I write this, most are hatched already.it is crazy hatching here !
The T-birds moved to the brooder room, these babies shown above in tubs in the cabin.YIKES !!

This my friends, is the only cure for hatchititus, overload !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VERY NICE Cl!! and very cute!! I was out today of course feeding in the brooder house with the newest additions, and guess who came running??? my buckeye babies of course!!!
