SadieSue, I was thinking you should put up some 'FOUND NOTICES,"for the pair of schnauzers and give your neighbor's phone no. or address. Just post them away from your home, or tack up in the grocery store, etc. Don't use your handwriting..

Those are beautiful! So vibrant and festive. So, on a happier note, I just got home from my parent's house where we gathered to dye 3 dozen of my chickens' eggs with my teenaged nieces.
SadieSue, this sounds more then just "rescuing scraggly dogs". This woman obviously knows the value of the animals and they have collars. Hopefully they are "chipped". I think this scum has stolen the dogs to hold for a reward or to later sell them. Do a little research in your area, perhaps you can find the rightful owners and clue them in to where their dogs are.
Just my thoughts.
Nice! Have a restful, fun trip with your family and Happy Easter.![]()

Fences, nice and tall, are a good thing!
So, the eggs himself bought at auction (he said he liked the chocolate coloured ones in the box); well, I put the four dark ones in the 'bator - I didn't think they'd hatch. But this morning, there were four black feather legged little chickies, two Icelandics and one Welsh Harlequin Duckling! They are all a day early, and there are several more pipping!
Oh, and himself took me to Portland yesterday to buy painting supplies and then for lunch at a really nice Mexican place. And, we bought some really nice wine in a little wine shop. A fun day!
