Greg, thanks for sharing that beautiful, sad, uplifting story with us. It takes your name off the page and turns you into a three dimensional person. We do not know what goes on behind the scenes and shapes the personality and character of most who post here. But I feel like I know you very well and really like you .I do believe God knows just what it takes to soothe the soul.

No problem. It was taken out of context as far as I'm concerned, I was just trying to clarify, I have read the forum rules, and this is a "social thread" my feeling is this is much like Face book, and so there are ton's of issues or topics that we all discuss not necessarily related to chickens, I understand there should be no speaking of politics, religion or the like, but, I have made many friends on here, and we do talk more about other things. I would venture to say, most state threads are like that too, yes I like BYC, yes I've learned a lot, but, my life does not complete revolve around chickens, or ducks, or goats. If this was the Silkie thread or some other breed thread I get that. One reason I like this thread is because it's not confined to just chicken talk. I'm sorry that the discussion went on as long as it did. I know it was not meant to become an "Issue".

Sold 8 of the 10 chicks. She is picking them up tomorrow.
I have one that has a turned toe so it looks like it is walking on the side of its foot.
And another still has a splayed leg.
I was not going to sell these 2 until I fix their problem, If I can fix them.

That's ok, get this! Some Mexicans down the road had a celebration, and they had a live band, ( I have no problem with parties, live bands ect) BUT, after 11pm it was still going, and they couldn't even turn it down some! This place is over a 1/2 mile away!! So, yea, it was like after 1am, that I finally fell asleep, tried turning my fan up, I could still hear the bump, bump bump!! Jeez!!! I'm with you!

Happy Mothers Day everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well! Sorry I havnt been around, but Ive been WAY busy with the two girls. I swear Emily eats constantly. lol But she's growing every day, now up to 8 pounds. Very gassy though. Oh well, its all part of having a babe.

Eventually I will have time to get on here more. But for ow. I gotta run! Take care and enjoy the weather!
