Ive had a great day with my boys, the two of them drove us home while my hubby drove our truck. Boy did they have fun with me the had the window wide open and the music up loud. So what did I do I started singing oh they didnt like that LOL.
Its so good to see my oldest laughing and smiling its been so long. I dont want today to end.

I hope everyone had as good as day as I did.

I got shown at the Monroe show in March. Its pretty simple. And I am still kicking my self for not getting some.

PS How are the babies?
To bad you do not live closer. If you did I would say you should come over and show me how to do it, then you could take the rest of it home to use on your babies right away. But I don't think we would have enough time for you to get it home to use before it went bad.

Oh, and the chicks are doing GREAT, they went into the brooder with my chicks that were hatched on Monday and Tuesday. I sat infront of it for an hour to make sure they were all ok together. They all stayed seperate for a while, then as the day went on they got closer. Now they all sleep together.
I will be putting my eggs under Big Burtha tonight. Thanks again, so much.

The Mereck's I've seen comes in a power, with a solution you mix it with - then you have an hour. There is no reason you cannot make 'smaller batches' and spread the stuff out.

Might be worth considering.

Hey all, great day here! All 3 kids were sick. Lol, actually it wasn't bad and we couldn't go to church but still enjoyed the nice weather o
All day long! I went to home depot and got some cinder blocks to set the coop down on, used my car jack to do it all by myself too! Took the wheels off the trailer it was build onto, removed the entire hitch it was attached by under the length of the coop, and set it down on blocks. It's not much more permanent and I feel great after a day of hard work. We still need to make the run secure and add a roof to it but this will come soon! The girls were so happy when I put them back in their normal run instead of the little one I made when they were 2 weeks old!

Forgot to mention I got some new girls Friday and Saturday and got rid of the too as well. Now we have 13!
2 Easter Eggers
2 Welsummers
3 Buff Orpingtons
1 RIR
1 Delaware
2 Black Australorps
2 Gold Laced Wyandottes

They're such a cute bunch! 6.5 weeks old now :)
