Just went out to look. They are down at the Hwy (1/2 mile). I could see the ground flash and then just see the glow up in the clouds when it went off. Seems like a waste to me but then the guy who lives there is dummer than diesel !!! May have to give Q a maglite tranq tonight. gonna try to get to bed.

WOW  well as we all know it is close to the fourth and lots of people are already shooting fireworks. We just had a couple go off that rocked our house. I am tending more towards TNT from the sounds. Poor Quincy is so upset cause he hears the noises outside but when we go out there is nothing.

Thankfully Willow is old and deaf now. She is terrified. We found her July 5, 9 or 10 years ago when she ran from her abusive owners.

Its kind of a nice mellow earthy sound.

My old pup is a scaredy pup. she is great house dog alarm and cares for the critters in the yard but now that she is deaf she is no longer even a good alarm... now she is just a hair shedder and a bed warmer.....
She has always been terrified of strange noises.. even remote cars, snapping towels, electronic whirring noises etc... I think she was tormented before we got her at 6 months... she used to be afraid of pillows!
