Gotta watch for those coons. I got up early to work on the run, went outside and saw a coon climb my neighbor's tree. That one is living too close for comfort!

Gotta get back at it. DH is trying to install a new radio in the boat (yes, at 12:30 PM)... silly man. It's gonna be a long night. I won't be around most of this week. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday! Chat with you in a few days.

For you northern peeps who want the same rabbit hutch I got
http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/for/3098954634.html

Only mine was $25

All my coops were erm free :plbb

only cost I had was screws and wire....

*Pretends to be the freebie queen*

How? :barnie I need me some free stuff! I would love another, larger hutch. OR, the one I linked to, but DH would kill me if I drove all the way up there for something Id on't NEED.

Coop 1a was given to me by Hallerlakes son who did not want chickens anymore. It was later given to a first time chicken owner.
Coop 1b was built from a wood shipping crate. I salvage stuff and well my yard looks like it atm since everything is so disorganized atm....

Second one was from a construction friend of mine who was working on a house and the owner asked him to toss the coop.... He brought it to me :D

and the large one was given to me by a friend of a friend of my produce supplier and it was delivered.... :D

I trade/bargain/collect "junk" and rebuild things
My greenhouse is a old carport frame. My shed is a second old carport frame.
I have a pile of lumber from remodels and tear downs. My aquaponic system (which is still working on since my project got put on hold) is made from industrial bulk containers (IBC)
I have rain barrels from food companies (I made them rain catchers) as well as IBC's

I have little to no money due to low income and trying to remodel the house that is falling down around my ears... So everything I pay for has to either be necessary or pay for it self somehow.
The goats... are a exception.... they WERE to be in the freezer... but my Mom turned em in to pets... sigh

I was pretty shocked too.. lol they asked do you want a chicken coop? I say yes.. they bring a coop that is NICE!

The last coop I got free needed a new roof and a new set of doors.. it is now at my sisters

Part of the reason I'm always broke.....

A lot of money to remove 2 trees that were 10 feet from neighbors house and 15' from mine....
Was so glad when I finally had enough $ to cut them down... and thanking my lucky stars they did not fall on the neighbors $60,000 show car in the garage... :th

Well I think we're about a quarter of the way cutting our wood. We spent most of today cutting, and then splitting some of it. Some of those logs are huge!

I'm guessing it's about 2.5 - 3 cords that we have to do. It should be more than enough to get us through the winter with extra left over. We still have some from last year as well.

There are some logs down the railroad they cut up that fell this last winter. They are to long to fit in the wheelbarrow and I won't use the chain saw. I drop stuff to much and am way to much of a klutz. DH doesn't like me using the weed wacker with the blade on it unless he's home in case I slice myself. So I'm hoping that maybe one of these evenings DH will go with me to get them. The train only comes through rarely on weekends.
