I work for a airline so the flying part is easy and no cost.... it is the rest that will take time
Yes take both doors off the nest boxes... they can start playing early to fuss and play house and etc.... If you catch them roosting in the nest then there is something the hen does not like about the roost so they went to nest instead. Or if they are old enough they will nest sit when broody...... It is the major way for me to tell who is getting broody or is broody in my flock.

Rainwolf - Cool! How old are they and what colors? When do you think you would now? I'm talking to somebody who has white Ameraucana trio in Calif willing to ship right now. But maybe I should just get them all.....I could pick up from Seattle. You can message me directly if you prefer.
I've been clipping wings when they roost in the coop but I'm not sure I've got them all! I know I have at least 3 boys most likely more out of the 12.

I'm thinking we could crash North Seattle Community College campus parking lot for a "swap" sale etc...
just park and sit and chat and ohh look I have chickens in my trunk.... must open the trunk to allow air...

Check out the way they handled food/water in that coop/run on page 6. Light bulb moment... I love that idea for a chicken tractor. My chickens are always knocking their food and water over in the tractor. Drives me batty!
