What a beautiful dog!! So very sorry for your loss Ron!!![]()
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. He had a clinic here in the Tri-Cities!! I ended up buying the package where you can go have the sx repeated as many times as necessary/possible. I wonder if that still holds true now that the business changed names. It's creepy when someone you would never expect does something like that. The eye surgeon who did my eye surgery is serving a 20-year sentence for a murder-for-hire plot against the co-owner of their practice. It is very strange to think that he touched my eyes. He was a great surgeon. Too bad he snapped. It seemed like he had an ideal life.
I'm in Kennewick and can totally sympathize! I really enjoyed last night's lightening storm and the rain it brought. Too bad it just went back to boiling hot again today (well yesterday, as I just noticed what time it is!). I'm getting tired of icing all the waterers and watering down the run and their favorite spot in the field! The heat here is terrible... yesterday it was 104 degrees. the day before was just as hot and we managed to loose 2 rabbits due to heat. Only person home was hubby's 35 yr old stepson that can't be bothered to do anything except for himself and only if he smells bad enough will he even bother to shower. YUCK!!!!!! So 2 rabbits died. They were watered in the morning before hubby and I went and worked on our new house for the day. Really makes me mad and sad at same time.
Came home to the dead rabbits. and one of my hens having a bald head where she got picked on. She literally looks like they picked at her until it was down to bone. So she's in her own cage now and doing good. I am going to have to trim up the dead skin. (ewww not looking forward to that) but she is healing nicely although hubby now calls her Friar pluck. Go figure.
I am hoping the heat will go down here because me and super hot heat do not really get along.
What a BRILLIANT idea!!!take a simple pocket comb and hold the nail with that. Then you won't get your nail nailed by a hammer. Just a thought, might help! Couldn't hoit!
Ron, I know you were dreading this day for a long time. I'm glad Kim could be there for you. Hugs to you both. The photos Dawn posted are wonderful.I am SIXTY years oldand today I did the hardest thing of my old life! I had my 16 yr. old GSD Kala put to sleep. she had arthritis so bad she had trouble getting up and down and walking. and her side vision was almost completely gone. I could write a book on what a great dog she was and all the fun we had. but I know some of you have lost Great dogs too in the last couple of years, and you know what I'm talking about and the hurt I'm feeling right now
. I know time will heal things. even though my dog was a big part of our family especially to me , I know she was just a dog and Not Human!![]()
I know several of you have lost parents recently and Dave lost a very young daughter ! I don't know how you guys can go on with that kind of hurt!
I admire you people!
I want to thank Kim !!! she went with me to the vet and even helped me bury Kala what a Sweetheart she is![]()
