Well we're off to pick up some local duck eggs to try! I can't wait to see how they're different from chicken eggs. Be back later!

I've always gotten arborists' chips for free from the arborists.

Are the chips too big for the chicks? Everything I have read said to use shavings not chips. If I can use stuff that I can get for free that would be great!

But NO, they're awful to crack!! I just finished lunch. We each had a duck egg with our lunch. OMGosh they are super thick egg shells and hard to crack, and even the insides are super slimy, thick, and hard to get out of the egg shell!! I ended up scooping out the shells with a spoon

I agree, better for baking. My husband doesnt like duck eggs.
