I would disagree. Using wordpress.org you could use Google AdSense or have a store front. You can you Google AdSense on wordpress.com but they will take more of your earnings.
Google AdSense is expensive and doesn't really work well. A blog if done correctly can optimize some SEO but only if you use the write keywords.

Quote: That's a good question. One of the things about writing code, is that any misspelling can really screw everything up. And a lot of people think that using templates is "creating" a website.

I have created websites (coded), and Himself is a software engineer. He has written many, many billions of lines of code. One of his pet peeves, is badly written code, and poor grammar. In fact, if he finds even one misplaced "quote" mark, or a single typo in a resume or job application, it goes straight into the trash.

ooooh all this tech stuff is making me anxious - all I know is 'enter', 'delete', "send', and 'backspace."

If I manage to grow enough, that would be nice.

Question to the canners out there... I heard that if you have a glass top range, you can't can on it. Is this true? I keep thinking about investing in canning equipment - but I don't want to break the glass top.
I have the glass top range and was bummed when I found out that with my model I couldn't can on it.... For mine it has a sensor that turns the heat down if it gets too hot. So the two issues I had was that my sensor burned out :( and the heat wasn't constant enough to kill the bacteria in the canning goods:( There are canners you can buy that will work on ... you just need to check the owners manual or manufacturers website to see what the specs are for your model. This is a website I use and it has a good explanation and alternative ideas :)

Something kinda fun.... ( I think ) is to find a canning "buddy" ie someone that has a stove that works with canners and pressure cookers.. Make a date or two and do your canning at their home.. Its fun, it makes the work go faster, you can do breakfast or lunch maybe even a bottle of wine...

. I usually bring extra lids, jars or sugar for the host of the day.. All In all its alot of fun.

Try canning bosc pears. They hold up with a firmer texture and slight crunch. They are incredible! I also made pear sauce last year. Like applesauce but with pears. Add a little ascorbic acid (I get mine from the brew shop) and the color never darkens!

Thanks,

I don't know about bus routes. He has a website and is in a residential area.
