Twice now - I've written multi-quote responses in the Reply window to various posts. Ugh! Lost them thanks to a "feature" of my Netbook that selects buttons if I accidentally hover the mouse over them for very long. I'm not going for a third attempt.

So... I'll just say "Hi" and wave at you!

We come home tomorrow. I'll be relieved to be home and see my girls. We haven't talked to our pet-sitter since Wednesday, so part of me is getting a little nervous. From what I understood, Thursday and Friday was supposed to be pretty hot. Hopefully we can reach her today. I'm sure things are fine. I'll be happy to get home, clean out the coop and get their life back to the condition they are used to living in. We didn't expect her to scoop poop, and my girls are used to my cleaning up after them every day. Tomorrow it will be 12 days since I have seen them. I have no idea what to expect when I get home. I don't know what 12 days of poop even looks like!

We'll be off to our 2nd day at Silverwood today. Those of you who said you liked it... I agree! That place is wonderful! We're all having a good time. The twins turned 8 today - so we rented a cabana in the water park. It will be nice to have a place to park our behinds and our stuff all day long.

"See you" back in WA tomorrow.

Do any of you have ideas on how you can prevent selling a rooster to cock fighting rings unknowingly? I sold my little Sebright roo and as they were pulling out of my drive, several things popped into my head that freaked me out and made me worry. Besides coming out and asking if that is their intention and offending people who now know where I live, I could not think of ways to prevent that from happening!

Hello Friends: I am two weeks behind. I had lots of Drama and Trauma at my home and I was sick....so I am insane behind. I lost my pomeranian (did I tell you this already?)...She was 14.5 and had congestive heart failure. She was having a hard time breathing and I decided to take her to the vet on a Monday morning. Went to work at 7, called the vet at 8:30, they told me to come right in. Got Sabyle....Took her into vet...Kim (front desk lady) went to put me straight into a room...I'm like "don't you want her weight?...she has lost a lot". As I bent over to put her on the scale....Sabyle went limp and quit breathing. I was rushed into a room. I told Dr. Denise that I think she is gone...Denise told me "not quite...but let's not make her wait any longer". She was my baby. It still hurts.

Well, the next day I went to work. I could not stop crying and all the recent stress came out. I ended up in the ER with an anxiety attack. I am now on medication to help minimize it. It was awful. but I am doing very well, but I miss my fuzzy baby.

I miss reading/talking with all of you...but just been too busy and trying to keep up with kids. Please know that I love and miss you all and I will be back this winter to chat.

If you haven't checked lately the "Do Not Track" site has a new version.

BYC use to be so slow for me until I used this software.
Now none of the sponsors ads load and it isn't like being on dial up.

Thank you Greg! BYC has always been very slow on my Netbook. Some days I'd find myself wondering if it was worth the slow load time. I just downloaded this in my Firefox browser. Seems faster... if this thing doesn't give my anti-virus program issues, I'll be downloading it to my IE browser, too!

"Johnnie."
"Yes, teacher."
"If there are twenty Chickens in a field, and one gets out through a hole in the fence, how many Chickens are left in the field?"
"None, teacher."
"Johnnie, there are still nineteen Chickens left in the field. Obviously you don't know arithmetic."
"Sorry, teacher, but I do know arithmetic. Obviously you don't know Chickens."

I'm getting frustrated. I'm still only getting one egg a day (a couple of times, 2 eggs; a couple of times, no eggs) and they've been laying for 9 days. Am I just being way too impatient? There's only 3 that have started so far and they're all (well, most of them) almost 21 weeks. I guess I thought that once someone started they'd all kinda fall in line and start laying right away. Probably got some bad info somewhere along the line on that huh?
