What breed did you want.

I would like to get a combination of: salmon faverolles, barnevelder, columbian wyandotte, silver polish, and black (or maybe splash or partridge) silkie. Local ordinances put a limit of 5 on hens.

Oh Oh Oh and while I was at Wilco guess what I got???? There was a lady there selling horse feed and she had these nice hats to give people who bought feed. Well Somehow I ended walking off with a nice PINK one on my head. Did I leave my old dirty hat in exchange. ???

And NO I didn't buy any feed. Got no horses any more so don't need it!!!!

I am getting ready for coop building this week! I really hope my friend gives me a reasonable estimate to build it. I now have the paint, fasteners, lumber, most of the hardware, roofing materials, a window (I love the ReStore), and hardware cloth for the coop. I will need to load up again to build the pen, but I figure it's the easier of the two projects.

In other good news, we visited our dog today and she was showing improvement. We should be able to take her home tomorrow. The phone call I got this morning was not heartening, so we spent all day getting used to the idea of losing her, and then we were amazed when she walked (with assistance) into the room!

I am getting ready for coop building this week! I really hope my friend gives me a reasonable estimate to build it. I now have the paint, fasteners, lumber, most of the hardware, roofing materials, a window (I love the ReStore), and hardware cloth for the coop. I will need to load up again to build the pen, but I figure it's the easier of the two projects.

Not knowing how old they are, on the what this breed threads I posted & atleast 3 people think they might be roos. So far tonight the more colorful one hasn't made much noise, the all black one clucks alot more. We'll see. If my neighbor wouldn't mind a noisy roo I might keep the more colorful one.

Boy y'all are awfully quiet tonight! What happened to our active night crew? Gee whiz I had to go on leave for a little bit and now the WA thread has fallen apart! I knew it! If y'all had more ducks then this wouldn't have happened!!

I have duck and chickens two are my daughters pets, one is a pekin girl. The other a Campbell drake. I have three others two runners one girl one drake and a blue Swedish girl. They are mess compared to my girls. The pekin is laying now.
