melons? those are around/with mold?
You know... I'm not exactly sure. But my list of "don't eats" included all melons - watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew. I'm also not supposed to have have any dried herbs. And I think strawberries were on the list. So, I'm guessing the concern is that those fruits tend to mold ??? She did mention that teas tend to mold as they dry. I just haven't been able to kick my very bad tea habit (I have tea beeping at me in the microwave as I type), cheese habit, strawberry habit and how can one NOT eat watermelon? That's just not possible!!!
If you saw the sheet they gave me, you might be surprised. That sheet knocked me down to next to nothing to eat. Granted, the one week I managed to stay 100% on my no allergen diet was the one week that I felt great - except that I started feeling run down from lack of protein.
I did manage to kick the mushroom habit. It was tough - but it didn't kill me. I can still make salads pretty w/o mushrooms in it. Mushrooms are rather brown and boring anyway.
If you haven't guessed... I'm not doing too well with the "no molds" category. Probably why I'm still struggling with a swollen throat - some days it is still pretty bad.
