I've still got it!!!!! I just rustled me another chicken. And got away with it. Boy howdy I'm tellin ya though I thought I was gonna get caught fer sure that little hen screamed like the sky was falling!!! And of course as I was walking home with her screaming and I was trying to silence her. Here comes the neighbor driving by!

Hi Again everyone I just finnished reading "most" of all the post i was behind on....
So cool you all got to meet up at the Auction... funny thing is I think we were there that day LOL... But I had no idea you all were there.. Funny how things go. We were only there for a little bit because I ended up not feeling well and we left.

A BIG Thank You!!!!! to everyone that posted well wishes to me.. Was very nice to read them. You all are too cool. My brother actually has been sending my nephew over each day to help out with chores and I had a friend that has been helping me out too. Seems my head wasn't as hard as I thought and I ended up with swelling and pressure in places it didnt belong. Im mending now and will be ok. Dr said headaches will lessen and vision will be fine in a bit of time

Hubby has banned me from any more climbing..... Grrrrrrrrrrrr Oh well once Im better and he is at work What he dont know wont............. heheheeehee. 36 years of climbing ladders, haystacks, and walls in this barn and one fall and now he thinks Im dangerous... Gheesh LOL Heheehehee.

Im gonna try and post some pictures of my new little one they are growing so much.. Im loving the coloring so far.. Would love to show you all and see what ya think

I would just use the Blue Kote first. The BK has more in it than just the color. It's is messy, but if there is a little bit on skin infection going on the BK will fix it. The purple in the BK disguises the redness of the skin, so the others can't really see it. Another thing is that if a chicken is bleeding, the chickens will tend to go for the kill. So as far as I am concerned BK is a best first treatment for nearly any troubles a chicken might have.

Ok here are all my seramas that I get to play with. They are still pretty young though. One of the young black/white males has started to crow and its sounds like musical bells or a screeching door.

LOL! Thanks for sharing the pictures. That scruffy little "teenager" look always makes me laugh. Just like their human counterparts, they seem so awkward in life.

Wow I seriously cant keep up with all of you! My chicks are growing so fast and the males that were "thrown in" for free are almost ready for auction. Still don't know what type they are... other then barred. I've been taking care of my friends animals as she's helping out a friend who is on vacation; so I've been having to deal with her home flock roo who's decided he doesn't like me much. I don't know if it's because of all the girls that are brooding or because the other roosters (who are not free range) like me. I can't figure this fella out. But otherwise the "kiddos" are doing good. Though we just lost a rooster... Rusty was this beautiful partridge silkie; so sweet and I could pick him up all the time. Don't know what got him. Though there is a frizzle cochin/silkie mix that in the same run that's been harassing him. Heck that little idiot been hopping the run and going into the rabbit run and trying to harass the rabbits.

He's definitely going to auction next time. Because we all are tired of him. Hope everyone has a great week.
