Ok here are all my seramas that I get to play with. They are still pretty young though. One of the young black/white males has started to crow and its sounds like musical bells or a screeching door.



The bird above is number #1 male

Number 2 male

Number # 1 female she has some red leakage on her chest





Number 2 female



Number 3 female All the above are hatch mates.

Number 4 female.

Number 3 male. He has been crowing for awhile now. As soon as I get the serama pen up they are all going in. I am waiting to see what the males look like before deciding who get to stay.

Good morning everyone! Up and at 'em early since the chickens woke up the neighborhood. I'm glad I kept the new girls in the hutch last night...when everyone else woke up and went out to the run at 6:40 such a loud protest began and didn't end until I went out there at 7! They were all surrounding the hutch screaming at the new girls...who were yelling back thankfully and not scared in the least. Everyone is set to lay the majority of their eggs and then after school/lunch when I have some time I am going out there to let my girls out and allow the new girls to stretch and explore the coop/run; feeling bad they are cooped up in the hutch all morning but I know it's better in the long run. They're all safe for now

I've asked this before but I have 2 extra geese, haven't been able to sell them on CL and the Tacoma Meat Market has closed. Does anyone know where I can get geese processed in the Tacoma area? Flock dynamics were better with 3 geese than 5.

Could you do it? It's not too hard...just the killing part is sad...
