Chicken Rustler~ I'd totally use the expired epi pens...it's better than not having them at all. I know I have meds in my cabinet that expired 5 years ago..I still take them

Well I have a bit of a twisted out look on many things and this may be one. I look at it like this. Expired but still able to give even a little help for what ever condition is better than nothing at all !!!! Now I know there others who will totally disagree. That is to be expected. That is not saying either is right or wrong!!!

I was thinking... if you're in need of an Epi pen, it is because you're at death's door. Expired or not, it might give ya a shot.

I'll pick up my son's Epi pen from the school tomorrow and swap it out with the new. The school won't keep 'em once they are expired anyway.

I'm glad I still have the others, too. I've been having a hard time trashing them because I know how expensive they are. That said - when I picked up this last batch, I mentioned to the pharmacist that I had to throw so many away - and she reminded me that at least I'm throwing them away because I didn't have to use them. That put it in a much better perspective for me.

Hey - I met a park ranger who gave me an extra, almost empty inhaler that he had when we were in Lake Chelan and that fire broke out. I'm highly allergic to smoke - and he was concerned for my well-being. I took that inhaler - if it was my last chance, heck ya, I was gonna use it! I didn't even care that he'd used it before. Thankfully, one road opened and we managed to get out of there before I got into too big of trouble. One incident a few years prior - was even worse, so I pretty fearful of whether I was going to make it out of Chelan or not without issue.

Yes that was the point I was trying to relay. I don't know if I would go quite as far as 5 years. Also I have seen info of some meds that can actually cause other problems when they get too old.

Well on that note I guess I had better not tell them that I WAS Darth Vader's body guard for a day and still have a business card signed by him!

Here's a humongous egg our barred rock, Amelia, laid for us a week or so back...Either that or a stray velociraptor broke into the coop and left it! Poor Amelia! We gave her extra mealworms after that one.

It's probably twins. My kids ate 2 sets of twins the other day - since they are twins, they thought it was funny they were eating twins. LOL!

Because someone thinks different than I do doesn't mean I don't want to hear from them and have their comments erased from my page.

Look at the google searches done. This isn't hearsay he has the results on the screen.

Just the other day I was helping my brother out over the phone with a computer problem and said ok lets go to google and do a search for a video. We both put in same name to the letter.
We both got different search results on the same first page. I thought my brother was nuts. By the time that happened I was already frustrated and then when he tells me I don't see what you are talking about it all makes sense now after watching that video.

When people aren't seeing both sides of the coin due to others decisions that becomes a dangerous path which a lot of this country is already walking down due to the limited media outlets they get their info from.

OK, I admit, I only looked at the first few seconds, then mostly dismissed it as conspiracy theory. I have to get ready for work in a few minutes, but I'll watch it tonight.
