Ok, I admit it, I am an impulsive and impatient person, and I was bad today.

Silver laced Wyandottes!!!




Monroe F&F had a few 2 week olds left. I think the one on the left it probably a boy. We'll see when they grow up. They are so adorable! After the long ride home they were all worn out. They didn't want to get off my hand and kept dozing off. I have them set up in a cardboard box at the moment. I finished scrubbing out the stock tank and sprayed it down with a veterinary disinfectant. I'll hose it down one more time in a little bit and then haul it around to the basement and set them up while my son is napping.

oh and for those who are looking at trommels... make sure it is easy to turn it motorized cuz after awhile you will wish it had a motor

Would an old washing machine motor work ?

I've seen old dryers turned into sifters so I would think so.

I just think people should be informed about what they eat, who the vote for, etc... being informed will change a lot of things.... atm we are not really informed on much...
soon we will have to be called mushrooms....

Hehehe, I gave my new chicks some tiny roaches to see what they would do. The littler chick knew they were food and grabbed one immediately. The bigger chick didn't know what they were, but knew that anything in the other chick's mouth was something to be stolen. Sounds like they are both normal little chicks. It'll be nice to get them into the stock tank and give them room to get away from each other.

Its is a compost sifter so should not be any rocks in it to make noise....
but it shows that the dryer motor can be used..

That dryer has given me an idea or 2. I'll do some scrounging soon.
In the mean time, I made this portable rain barrel, since the local OO told me that I can't have one on my porch.
