So I pulled my concrete bricks out of the black bags in the greenhouse. They didn't hold heat at all. So.... now I'm thinking they must be clay bricks to hold heat for a long time. Anyone know?

If you want to order the nipples from QC supply, I will make as many as you want! It takes about 3 minutes! Or I can come over and show you.I can pick up the bucket for you too! Just make sure you get the push in nipples. They have the black washer you put in first then push in the nipple. I will help or just do them for you if you want. Let me know.
I got buckets from HD for about $3-$4 each and 9 nipples from QC Supply for about $9 plus shipping. So that puts each one at around $7-$8 each I think.

Hmm, I think I will go ahead and order the nipples! Although I bet if I'd known about this earlier, I could have found them at the feed store. Grrrr. I'm always behind.

Thank you for the offer to help! It sounds pretty straight forward, but if I have any trouble I will let you know.

When I made my nipple waterers I got the buckets for free from the grocery store bakery. Any time I'm shopping I'll stop by and ask if they have any. I also store my chicken feed in them, some of those buckets have an amazing air tight seal! I got some rectangle shaped buckets that I made into feeders as well.

Good idea! Thanks.
