Wasps

This is what I saw last year and am wanting to try, you take a grey grocery bag or fabric and stuff it and shape it like a large hive. they will leave because they wont compete with a larger hive over territory. Its best to get it out early in the season.

Do adult chickens eat wasps? I thought I saw one of my 3 month old chickens eating a wasp he caught.

Just knock em down as they are building the nests. They are probably paper wasps
and not much threat to people as they don't swarm. I come accross them all the time
and just ignore them.

Now Yellow Jackets are another story. They attack by swarming and could have thousands
of bees per nest. I like to use the garden hose on those.

We don't use pesticides on anything and we ain't no tree huggers either. Poison
is poison. It's just common sense.
