i give me baby chick Wazine dewomer after 3 day to 4 of being hatch it works great for the older ones to. and if you put a little sugar in there water the first day it give them a better start

Chicks that young dont need to be wormed. It can possibly harm them that young, not to mention resistance to the wormer later on when it's truly needed.
 
i have allway give it to mine and it dont harm them is never hurt my chick and i have been giving it to them for 15+ years

what does one do for chicks? is there anything at all I can do for them if it is worms?  

I mean, the keel bone I can feel it on the chickens.  so they're thin...  but only 1 has a messy bum.  must they be messy for worms?  what else can cause wasting?  and the poops that I see in the coop look solid... not sure if they're the chicks poop or adults or whatnot.


Did you worm them orally or in their water? Have you dusted them for mites/lice with a proper poultry dust?
 
thank you. I wormed them orally with safeguard.

I can get pictures another day, we're in the middle of a snowstorm right now.
 
What are you feeding them? If pellets I would try switching them to mash. My silkies had a vary hard time eating pellets.
