Hello! I really enjoyed posting weekly updates last time I raised chicks two years ago, so I'm back to do it again!

I just received 10 sexed chicks from My Pet Chicken. They *should* all be female. I moved this summer to a lot on 2 acres zoned agricultural. We have no restrictions here, so I could keep a rooster if someone ends up that way. We recently upgraded the coop to a dreamy 8' x 18' monster mansion. My current three hens just turned 2 years old this month. They barely gave us any eggs during their first molt and throughout winter, so it was time to bring in some fresh blood! I plan to keep all 10 until I see what egg colors they lay, then I'll probably choose just 5 to keep and sell the others.

The box arrived from MPC within 36 hours of shipping. The heat pack was still warm and everyone looks great! We have...

1 Super Blue
1 Ancona
2 Olive Eggers
4 Easter Eggers
2 Welsummers

Everyone had a good first night! Individual photos coming next!

Baby pics! I think hatch day was Feb. 18th

MPC Super Blue (1) - Do I see a beard? First impression is that this one is a little more avoidant of the big scary hand.

Ancona (1) - Very petite! This one is a little jumpy. Suspiciously erect stance.

Olive Eggers (2) - The OE standing on the right is so much smaller! They both have a yellow dot on their head. MPC's Olive Eggers can be F1 or F2. Both have feathered legs. The smaller one has a yellow belly.

Easter Eggers (4) - They all look very subtly different. Bottom right is a pretty chocolate brown with maybe greenish legs. Top right has an especially marbled contrast face and peeps SO LOUDLY. Top left is similar to top right but a bit darker in the face. Bottom left is more even toned. They all look bearded except for maybe top right? Similarly chipmunky like the Welsummers, but much fluffier!

Welsummers (2) - Identical chipmunks! These two seem to stay under the heat when all the others come out. They're very calm when I pick them up.

There can never be enough chick pix, or chipmunks for that matter! Can I ask what kind of camera you use? Super clear shots of all things chick! 👍

Thanks! The pics were taken with my phone with good lighting, a Samsung Galaxy S8. The one overhead shot into the box is my Canon Powershot G7 X point & shoot camera.
