Hi, an egg rolled under the hole where I add water in my incubator. I didn't see it and water dropped on it - about 20 drops. The other eggs have hatched and that one is not pipping. It was thriving before lock down. Any thoughts?

I can't imagine that would be any worse than if the hen went out in the rain and got her feathers a little wet and then sat back down on her eggs.
I wouldn't worry about it. Just give the egg some time, see what happens. Best ,

I definitely think a little extra water will cause a chick to die in the shell. Many people, if the chick is struggling to hatch, wrap the egg in a moist towel so it really shouldn't make a difference. If anything it helped the humidity.
