I havn't finished my coop yet but I would to have some sort of water feature/fountain for my chickens...I have lots of rocks and sand and was thinking along thel linesof a bird bath (low down forthem to drink outof)...overflowing into a sand type beach. We live in Florida and I think my birdswould appreciate being able to bathe and cool down and have fresh flowing water.....how would I make sure the water stays clean in the birdbath? is it even possible? Would appreciate advise and pics if you have done this.

I doubt the chickens would bathe in it, and it would be nearly impossible to keep clean
It's going to waste a LOT of water too

I have thought along the same lines, but keep running into that very question of how to keep it clean.
