Water for Ducklings From the Hatchery

The new ducklings will be coming home to the ranch next Wednesday. I was just wondering if giving them distilled water for awhile would be a good idea or not? I found this site that has an analysis of our city water supply.

Just give them the same water you would drink, they'll be fine. You could chop up some leafy greens and put them in there to help encourage them to drink. Good luck!

Tap water should be fine. The only thing I add to my ducklings water is some pro-biotics. Just my opinion but I think its a great way to start them.

We keep distilled water in the house for my boyfriend's CPAP machine.

We also run our tap water (which has a lot of chlorine and arsnic, yet is still drinkable) through a Brita Pitcher before giving it to the flock. This means a LOT of filtering before we can fill their waterers.
