Water for hens

I just got 50 new 17 week old pullets. They arent comingvoutvif the coop. How can i get them to eat and drink. How long can they go wothout drinking.

They need to drink.

They have access, they just wont come out to drink. Should i put a bucket in the coop for them? I just want them to come out of the coop. Food and water are outside in an enclosed pen.

What time is it where you are? How big is the coop, do you know? Did you put them directly in the coop? How recently did you get the chickens? Could you set them in the run and see what they do? Maybe putting some water in the coop would be good... what temperature is it?

I always put a water source in the coop when they are new birds, the coop is their safe space, for a week or so I would definitely recommend an easy-to-reach water source until they get comfortable in their new home.
