Water for new chicks

When do you switch to a non medicated feed? Can you eat the eggs from chickens who are on medicated feed?

Everyone does it different.... Some go from chick starter to grower feed then layer, and some go from chick starter to layer pellets. Yes you can eat eggs from chickens who have eaten med chick starter as long as your not allergic to sulfur (sp?) or pregnant. But by the time they are laying age they should be on layer pellets !!
