My babies ship out tomorrow! I have the little packets of prebiotic to add to their water but have also been told to add acv to prevent pastybutt. Upon arrival, shoukd BOTH acv and prebiotic by in the water? How often do I change the water? I wasn't sure if the prebiotic will go bad?

I use probiotics and molasses or nutridrench. I have never used ACV for chicks but I only use it for my grown hens in the summer because it helps keep algae from growing in their waterer

For how long do you give them the probiitics or nutridench and how much of it?

Probiotics should have directions on the package. I usually do the mix for the first few days and then alternate with fresh water for a couple days before switching to straight water. I might alternate with elecolytes the first few days as well. It really depends on the instances of pasty butt and the overall energy levels of the chicks. I just keep an eye on them. If one is struggling they all get nutridrench
