Hi all! New to the forum and have a question. I have recently been raising two ducks and it is time for them to leave the coop and enjoy the outdoors.

I need a water source and would prefer a trough that had a drain plug for easy fill. Does anyone have recommendation?

Welcome to BYC! I use kiddy pools and 50 gallon Rubbermaid stock tanks.

We have used a very durable green turtle sandbox as a pool for years, it works great for our 5 ducks, fills in a few minutes, and they don't need a ramp at all. The snow is almost gone and when spring flooding is over our ducks are free range, they are in the brook off and on all day but also continue to use the little pool which has survived two kids and 6 or 7 years of ducks being used year round

Is it big enough for two adult ducks too bathe in it?
Big enough for two ducks, not quite big enough for two geese.
I gotta ask a couple questions, Do they have drains so you can drain it out and clean it good?
I have seen pictures of them with drains, but none of mine have drains. That doesn't matter though because it one is strong and healthy they be easily tipped and dumped when they are 2/3 or less full.
