Water source

Trying to find a solution for my two ducks as well. We have a medium size pan that we fill up the water 2-3 times a day and because it is getting hot, they would prefer to stand it in and tip it over, than to drink it.

Do you have to dig a hole for the stock tank so they can get in it? I do like the idea of the drain as well. Pretty hard for me to even empty the kiddy pool.

Thanks

And a drill bit the right size

Then a 90 degree fitting

And a rubber plug

Put the bulkhead in the bottom of a kiddy pool, put the kiddle pool a pallet so theirs room underneith for the 90 elbow and a hose

I could get like a Uber one that’s a 120 gallons. So sorry things are jacked up in price.
Haha yeah! those stock tanks are just 2$ of molded plastic, They probably make 7000 a day at the factory. should be 25$ a peice anyway!

i just hate the bright color of kiddy pools

I totally agree the bright colors of kiddy pools is annoying to me.

Home Depot had a pond kit with fountain diy for $100.00. My kiddy pool which is currently used for the dogs on the deck was $1.00 last year at Walmart after season sale. Once you get over the pink it is all good from there. The fact that it was a dollar and still going strong works for me. You can hire a landscaping company to put in a nice pond with small waterfall my dream but the kiddy pool seems cheapest right now and haven’t talked the DH into anything else. I saw that someone on here bought the Chewy dog pool and put in a small fountain.
