Humidity in an incubator has nothing to do with the depth of water. It is entirely dependent on the surface area of the water. The bigger the surface area of the water, the higher the humidity will be.

The only thing that a deeper amount of water will do is to make the refilling less frequent. As long as the increase in water does not increase the surface area of the water, it will not change the humidity.

Do you have the Mini II Advance or EX?
Also, are you simply referring to the depth of the water or are you talking about filling up one side of the water pot versus both sides?
