Is there a way to tell if my emu is dehydrated. Is there mouth a different color or poop?

I know that dehydrated chicks' beaks turn blueish. And they become lethargic. I would guess it's be similar with other birds??

Well, they shouldn’t be dehydrated if they have easy to reach, clean, cool water!

All poultry should have access to clean fresh water daily in their brooder. Emu and rhea chick in their 6ft brooder should have a bowl straight sided heavy pot ca 5 inches in a corner, to stop walking into it.To start put some green chopped lettuce etc. in it,so they will go to it and then knows where it is. Similar to pic, but has been modified, improved since.
Good luck.
