Water?

What exactly is your concern? Are you talking about things you can put in the water for good health? Things like Apple Cider Vinegar or Probiotics, vitamins, minerals ect....?

Yes!!!! I've been reading about others putting apple cider in the water. Is this good for them? What about it do they like? How much?

Many people add apple cider vinegar and/or crushed garlic to the water. The garlic provides nutrients and may aid in parasite control. The apple cider vinegar helps to acidify the gut.

There are no 'set in stone' quantities. For my pigeons I use 1 crushed clove of garlic/gallon of water twice a month. I add approximately 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 'mother'/gallon of water once a week.

We do the apple cider vinegar,it seems to also help with stress and other stuff very well, this is the first yr of doing it,it does help.I do have a question though, how old before the young ones can have it in their water?I mean the are 3 months old, will it hurt them?

Any age of bird can benefit from Apple Cider Vinegar. It helps to turn the body alkaline which wards off bacteria, virus's and fungal infections, it helps to increase the appetite, improves feather quality and sheen and contains many amino acids, pro and prebiotics. Good for any age of bird. I use 1 or 2 tablespoon of ACV per gallon of water for maintenance or 3 tablespoons of ACV for sick birds. Change it and make new daily for sick birds, or once a week maintenance is a good program for ACV. :)

I will definitely put this in their water. I know eating a clove of garlic is good for us, so I assume its good for my girls too. Thanks everyone for your help.
