I use vinegar to help with issues like that. I just mix a little bit in there.

You can get mosquito dunks at any garden center, and a lot of hardware stores. People use them for ponds and fountains.

No, thank you!LOL I just bought that same kind of waterer. Now I know to watch for mosquitos, and will dig out the dunks I have left from my "water feature" in the garden.

Do you find them as irritating as I do?

Honestly I have never opened it and had full blown mosquitoes inside. I just constantly combat the larvae in the water trough. Still, I find it extremely irritating.

I have never seen or even heard of mosquito dunks. I just googled them and am now amazed. I’ve needed these for years.
