I have a gloche type waterer, it holds about 1 1/2 quart of water.
Suddenly it seems to not hold water anymore. It was bone dry, safe for an IOU in the trough over the course of a few hours.
I filled it back up yesterday evening, and again, this morning it was dry.
I only have 5 chickens, and the water usually lasts a day, sometimes two, if they don't kick up so much dirt.
A visual inspection didn't show a reason.
Is that a common failure in this type of waterer?
This is the style, I don't know where my husband ordered it from
