Waterer & Feeder that takes up Little Floor Space in Coop

Yes, the top creates a suction and keeps the water in up in the pipe. You have to fill it from the mouth as in from which the chicks drink or in other words upside down.

Sorry unable to respond sooner, been away this weekend.
This water has to be air-tight, I have glued it all as seen. To fill it with water turn it horizonally with the water-bowl up and use hose to fill with water. Then turn it vertically, atomsphere air pressure pervents the water from running out. The cap kinda acts the same way as your thumb on the top of a straw. Hope this helps, if you need more information let me know.

Monk:

You said you hung the waterer with the keyhole/screw system. I assume the screws are located at the upper most portion so water doesn't leak, and those holes don't interfere with the suction of keeping in water?

TipsyDog, It has to be air-tight so I glued on two pieces of smaller PVC pipe that are halved and epoxied on the back side. Each of these halved pieces have the keyholes in them. I'll try to post pics.

Here is a pic of keyhole type hanger system I used for my waterer.
