I'm trying to figure out a way to water 18 baby chickens that are in the same pen. We are looking for an idea of things that are around the house kind of thing. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to BYC!

For the young chicks I use the mason jar waterers. The plastic piece attaches to the bottom of a mason jar and they are very affordable.

When they get two months old we use plastic coffee cans.

That is a really good idea. Thank you. So far I'm using dog bowls and barrels for watering the chickens. I'm going to try the mason jars though. Thanks again

In a few weeks they will be getting big, they grow fast. I use old Easter buckets or gallon ice cream buckets and just fill them with water. My girls are bigger and wander our yard so it's easy for me to clean and refill everyday with a hose and they are never to far away from water.... Don't know if this would work for a coop though.. Under my coop I just hand an actual plastic water cheap one you can get from a feed store so it doesn't spill on the bedding.
