Waterer that does not spill out and wont get full of poop

I made my own waterer out of a $.50 3 gal. bucket and a $2.39 pot tray. Works like a dream! I hang it on the wall with a metal shelf bracket at the height of the birds. No poop or mess yet.

I have a 2.5 gal galvanized that we put on a little bench.
But the ones they love are the rabbit waterers. They have that drip set up and the girls learned to peck at it to get fresh water. Just squeeze them before hanging them and they don't drip. I have 3 and I refill them every other day (they are only half empty by then). I really prefer them over the galvanized set up but I leave both in there so they have a choice.

I have the same waterer only they are 5 gal, I just put a cut off trafic cone on the top after filling, no problems at all. plus like the other people I keep it on a cinder block to keep the water clean.

I make little wood tables for all my cages. They are about 6" high and have little 2x2 legs and plywood as the top. I simply screw the 2x2 legs onto the plywood in each corner and that's it. Strong and works great! No poo, no shavings in the water.

I use the double metal ones and place them on a level cement block about 4-5 inches tall.
